WOOL CARE INFO

PILING, MISSHAPES & FOLDS

Our product can easily be refreshed and restored! Smooth out surface imperfections, remove folds, wrinkles and misshapes. Using an iron or a steamer at low temperature will smooth the surface and transform your product into a like-new condition.

Our wool cushions, placemats, baskets rugs, slippers and pet beds may initially pill more due to the loose felt hairs on the surface. For easy maintenance, thorough vacuuming is sufficient in most of the cases. For minor pilling and fluffs, we recommend using a home fabric shaver or a lint roller. In case of wet outdoor dirt, wait for it to dry before using a vacuum cleaner for best results.

REMOVE DIRT DUST & STAIN

The high fat content of the wool (lanolin) and dense felt structure provide natural protection against dirt and liquids. Our wool product is best taken care of by hand washing to prevent shrinkage. For dirt removal, use a soft brush and natural detergent to lightly brush off any residue. Lay flat on a towel to dry.

Use a hand vacuum for quick and easy removal of dust.

Most stains can be easily removed with a light soak and towel. For tougher stains, simply hand wash with natural detergent and cold water. Gently press with dry towel to absorb excess water, then let the item air dry. Avoid the hot dryer.

Color info

Our product is made with AZO-free colors. Please note that while it may fade if exposed to sunlight. Avoid potential staining by refraining from placing wet wool on delicate surfaces.

How much heat?

Wool is a natural fire-resistant material, but we recommend not exposing it to temperatures above 200-220 degrees Celsius for optimal safety. Protect your wool trivets by avoiding the use of grease cast iron pots; their heat retention may cause stains.
