Getting to Bhutan
-
Plan your itinerary
If you would like to customize your itinerary, let us know what your interests are, and we will design the perfect itinerary for you. Itineraries can range from 5 days to a 14 days tour and can include a variety of activities. If you have a special request, let us know, and we will do our best to fulfill it!
-
Pick your travel dates for flight reservations:
The sooner you give us your travel dates, the sooner we can check flight schedule and reserve your seats. Due to limited seating and limited number of flights, flight fills up quickly. During festival times, seats can fill up months in advance. You will also need to let us know which flight-serviced city you will be flying from. There are only two airlines in Bhutan. Druk Air and Bhutan Airlines.
-
Fill out your tourist visa application form:
We will provide you with the Bhutan government visa application form. Upon receipt of your tour payment, we will process your visa with the Bhutan government. Once we receive your visa clearance, we will forward it to you. You will need to present it to the visa officer at the entry point.
-
Make your tour payment:
Once your itinerary and travel dates are fixed, you will need to make your tour payment so we can process your visa, obtain your Druk Air tickets, and make your hotel reservations. We can receive payment only by wire transfer. We will provide you with the necessary wire-transfer information.
-
Receive documents:
We will mail your Druk Air ticket to you as soon as they are purchased, and we will fax your Bhutan visa clearance once it has been processed.
-
Send us pre-trip questions:
We pride ourselves on pre-trip planning and giving travel advice to our clients. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your travel to Bhutan or about Bhutan in general. We will be happy to assist you at any time and give you suggestions.
-
Meet your travel representative at the Airport:
